Local sources reported that a Palestinian citizen was killed and several others were injured on Wednesday as a result of Israeli shelling and gunfire targeting various areas throughout the Gaza Strip. The incidents occurred against a backdrop of continued breaches of the ceasefire agreement by Israeli forces.
Casualties in Gaza City
In the central part of the strip, Adham Subhi Ziyara was declared dead after succumbing to injuries sustained during an Israeli airstrike. The attack targeted a group of civilians walking along Al-Nafaq Street in Gaza City. Local reports indicated that several other individuals were also wounded in the same incident.
The violence extended to the vicinity of the Tamraz gas station, located near Al-Nafaq Street in eastern Gaza City, where additional casualties were reported following another Israeli raid.
Incidents in Northern and Southern Regions
Further north, military vehicles opened fire toward the eastern areas of the Beit Lahiya project. Meanwhile, in the southern sector, a resident suffered critical injuries after being shot by Israeli forces in the Badaw area of Western Sater, north of Khan Younis city.
Significant military activity was also observed in the northeastern outskirts of Khan Younis, where Israeli troops carried out demolition operations accompanied by heavy gunfire from tanks. Eastern parts of Khan Younis came under artillery bombardment synchronized with tank fire from positions established in the region.
Escalation in Central Areas
In the middle of the territory, Israeli tanks intensified their firing toward the eastern sections of the Burj al-Shati refugee camp. This assault coincided with artillery shelling directed at the same zone, adding to the widespread instability affecting civilian populations across the governorate.
