The Me’ata Palestinian Information Center announced on Saturday that approximately 3,450 settlers have invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound since the beginning of September 2026. The center highlighted that these incursions are occurring against a backdrop of intensified violations by Israeli occupation forces and settlers, who are attempting to impose new facts on the ground within the holy site.
According to the center, the surge in settler invasions coincides with the continued imposition of restrictions by occupation authorities on the access of Palestinian worshippers to the mosque.
