Although a slight drop in temperatures is expected, they will remain approximately two degrees Celsius above the annual average.
Wind conditions are anticipated to be light to moderate, blowing from the west to northwest, with occasional strengthening. Sea conditions will range from calm to moderate wave heights. As evening approaches and night falls, the atmosphere will become pleasant in the mountainous highlands and warm in the remaining areas. Winds during this period will shift to a northwesterly direction, maintaining a light to moderate speed, while sea waves will remain low.
The cooling trend is set to continue into Friday. Temperatures will decrease further but will still stay slightly above the yearly norm. The weather will be characterized as typical summer conditions, with skies ranging from partly cloudy to clear. A minor additional drop in temperature is projected for Saturday, with readings remaining marginally higher than the seasonal average.
By Sunday, another reduction in heat is expected, pushing temperatures slightly below the annual mean. The day will feature standard summer weather patterns, alternating between partial cloud cover and sunny intervals. This gradual shift marks a transition from the current intense heat to more moderate conditions over the weekend.
In light of the current weather patterns, authorities have issued specific safety warnings to the public. Citizens are advised to avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, particularly during peak hours between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. There is also an increased risk of fires igniting in areas dominated by dry vegetation, prompting caution in such zones.
Furthermore, urgent reminders have been distributed regarding vehicle safety. Residents are strongly urged not to leave children or elderly individuals inside closed vehicles, given the dangerous rise in internal temperatures caused by external heat. These measures aim to prevent heat-related incidents as the region navigates through this period of high temperatures before the anticipated cooling sets in.
