Fatal Raid in Qalqilya

A Palestinian youth was killed early Tuesday morning during an Israeli military operation in the town of Qalqilya. According to local sources, soldiers surrounded a residence in the western part of the town before opening fire and launching “Energa” grenades at the property. The confrontation resulted in the death of the young man inside the house.

Settler Violence in Nablus

In a separate incident in the northwestern area of Nablus, two civilians sustained injuries following an attack by settlers in the Mas’udiya district. Local reports indicate that settlers targeted residential homes in the area, assaulting several residents. The victims, identified as Mohammed Al-Khalil and his son, were treated for wounds and bruises at a local hospital.

Widespread Raids and Arrests

Israeli forces conducted extensive raids across various parts of the West Bank, leading to numerous detentions. In Tulkarm, four individuals were arrested after dawn raids on their homes. The detainees include released prisoner Ra’afat Jamil Nasif, 61; Ali Fatah Allah Sa’idi; Anas Al-Sheikh Hussein; and Rana Ibrahim Raja Al-Hafi, 30. Additionally, troops raided a vehicle garage and the home of the Faraj family in the Shuwaika suburb of Tulkarm, conducting searches and causing damage to household contents without reporting further arrests.

In Tubas, security forces arrested Yazen Samer Al-Ban Awada, 18, after searching his family’s home in Tamun village. Meanwhile, in Bethlehem, two minors aged 15 and 16 were detained in the Al-Saff street area. During the arrest of one of the boys, soldiers assaulted his mother, resulting in injuries that required her transport to a medical facility.

Operations also took place in Hebron, where troops forced shop owners to close their businesses amid heavy military presence in the city center. These coordinated actions reflect a broader campaign of incursions and detention drives targeting civilians in key urban centers throughout the region.
